Where to Download

This site does not host or provide downloads to the music albums directly. Below is a list of potential websites that can be used to download the music.

If you are really interested in an album and could not find it, send me an email and I’ll see what I can do.

Where to Buy

At the end of the day, if you really enjoy the music, support the artist and do the right thing – buy the album. I won’t go into a long philosophical argument on it, but I believe once you truly love an album, you’ll feel the need to pay for it, naturally.

With that said, there were a few occasions where I wanted to purchase some albums but there was simply no means to do so. Some doujin albums and Japanese game soundtracks are just impossible to buy or import.

  • Neowing (Japanese)
The best place to get Japanese music. Wide range of good and cheap shipping options. The only disadvantage is that it offers only commercial music.
  • CD Japan (English)
    English counterpart of Neowing.
  • Amazon Jp (Japanese)
Has even more products than Neowing, sometimes even offers doujin albums. Interface can also be changed to English. Disadvantage? Shipping costs a bomb.
  • Amazon (English)
Good place to shop if you live in the U.S.
  • Play-Asia (English)
Has some soundtracks, stocks tend to run out quickly. Imported products are expensive but it has good shipping options.
  • YesAsia (English)
Games, music, DVDs, drama, most of the popular stuff. Products are a little more expensive than normal.
  • Himeya Shop (English)
Solid collections of anime and game soundtracks but shipping cost is unreasonably expensive.

  1. And here is a little contribution on my behalf (and on behalf of everyone that helped with it), a link to the complete Ar tonelico discography, together with a good part of Shikata’s, Shimotsuki’s, Mitose’s and Ishibashi’s albums:

  2. Hm solid thread indeed. Will be adding it to the list.

  3. Here’s a link where it’s available the ost from both Ar Tonelico Series (including Shikata Akiko, Shimotsuki Haruka and Mitose Noriki CDs) I think the navegation is pretty intuitive even when you do n’t know spanish x)

  4. Ah thanks for the links Ringo ^^
